The Shag/Pink Panther collection will be available on various merchandise and DVD packaging through the year 2004, after which time the Pink Panther will return to his more common form.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: How can I buy a Shag original Painting?

A: All paintings are sold through various galleries that represent and show Shag's work. There is more demand for paintings than there are available paintings, so some galleries maintain waiting lists. Generally, all of the paintings on the website have been sold, with the exception of paintings displayed for shows which haven't opened yet, usually the show at the top of the gallery page. Your best bet is to contact a gallery before a Shag exhibit opens. Keep an eye on the Upcoming Shows page, and remember, most of these galleries sell and ship worldwide.

Q: Can I get a print of one of the images I see on the website?

A: Most of the works are not available as prints. They may have either been released as limited edition prints, and the editions have sold out, or they have not been made into a print edition yet. Shag releases 12 to 18 new prints a year, but they often sell out within weeks or months of the release date. Most of the currently available prints can be seen at Shagmart's website; they also maintain an archive where you cans see which prints have sold out.

Q: I saw a cute little purse (or other merchandise) designed by Shag, but I can't seem to find it on his or any other website. How can I get one?

A: Like the limited edition prints, much of the other merchandise Shag creates is released in small, hand-signed edtions (usually less than 400). Consequently, this merchandise sells out quickly. Some canny entrepreneurs list sold-out merchandise on eBay for highly inflated prices, but this is outside of Shag's control.
